01 Information we collect

When you connect TikTok, we receive your TikTok account identifier, display name, avatar, granted permissions, and OAuth access and refresh tokens. Tokens are encrypted before storage.

We store the questions, choices, themes, durations, captions, posting selections, commercial-content selections, render records, publishing identifiers, statuses, generated images, videos, and related technical metadata you create through the service.

We also process authentication cookies, OAuth state cookies, request information, IP addresses, timestamps, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and protect the service. We do not offer email/password registration in the current version.

02 How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, maintain your account session, generate and store videos, show previews, apply your chosen TikTok settings, submit posts at your direction, report processing status, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain service security.

03 When information is shared

We disclose information only as needed to provide the service: to TikTok for authentication and user-directed publishing; to the NCA rendering service to compose videos; to Hetzner Object Storage to store media; and to infrastructure providers that host QuickChoice and its database.

Generated media is stored at publicly retrievable HTTPS URLs. Anyone who obtains one of these URLs may be able to view the file. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.

04 Retention

We retain account, creation, render, post, and media records while needed to operate QuickChoice and meet legitimate security or legal needs. Disconnecting TikTok revokes and removes stored TikTok credentials but retains your local account, creations, posts, and media. Backup copies and diagnostic logs may remain for a limited period.

05 Your choices and rights

You can sign out without disconnecting TikTok, or disconnect TikTok to revoke the connection and remove its stored credentials. You control the privacy and interaction settings presented before each post. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to object or complain to a regulator.

06 Security, transfers, and children

We use encrypted transport, secure cookies, antiforgery protection, access controls, database-backed data-protection keys, protected TikTok tokens, and ownership checks. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Providers may process information in countries other than your own. QuickChoice is not directed to children under 13, or under the higher minimum age required where they live.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or law changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when legally required.
